I am back in Al Khor. I miss my land and people dearly. Khor seems to be a strange place now.
The recession is slowly stepping here as well. Some find it good because they can now relax a bit at work. Some are taking precautions by cutting down cost of living and some by sending families back. We keep waiting till it brings a direct affect.
At home we met more life insurance agents than friends and relatives. All the schemes seem lucrative, but we had enough schemes and didn’t have any intention to join. My first and last policy was taken during a recession period. That time software industry was facing recession and I was working with Siemens in Banglore. In two months I and our group had to end the job, but before that an LIC agent could sign me in for a scheme.
Recession or no recession we find the agents a nuisance. The lies we say to escape their clasps don’t tire them. They are ever ready to campaign thus deliberately making us masters of the art of lying profusely.

Good to have you back in the blogosphere. LIC agents are really a nuisance sometimes. We used to run away when we saw them coming. But they caught us all one by one and now we all got policies :D
