Today learned how terrific was yesterday and today for India. I totally understood the gravity of the situation as we have considered a trip to Mumbai. I wish our intelligence and security systems were tighter.
Ironically, yesterday was a peaceful day for me. I sat in a car in front of a bakery near to a saloon all alone just listening to old Malayalam music. My son insisted that I come for his hair cut. I don’t know for how long I sat there idle, but it passed in a winks time. It could be more than an hour. Number of persons from different nations passed in front of me. Al Khor lightings were blinding. Below are some songs I hearted.
1. Karakana kadalala mele mohapoonguruvi paranne..
2. Areyum bhavagayakanakkum.....
3. Rithubetha chandrika charutha meettiya...
Enjoyed it thoroughly. I haven’t done that for years. Motherhood changes everything in life. The focus shifts from self. It also happens when our family grows bigger and when girls decides to become serious matrons leaving the reckless girlhood behind. But sure I haven’t left it fully. Used the vacuum cleaner yesterday. The previous usage was months back.
God, I am thankful to you for what I am and what I have. I know nothing is guaranteed to exist here for the next moment. I bow before you with utmost respect. I wish 9/11 doesn’t repeat. There is fire in the fourth floor of hotel Taj, a landmark building in Mumbai.
