Launch of Chandrayan -1

22/10/2008 may seem an ordinary day for everyone, but for Indians it's the day they attempted to reach the nearest celestial body. Chandrayan -1 was launched. In 15 days it will be reaching Lunar orbit.

The prob from Chandrayan crash landed on the moon's surface on 14th November at 8:31 pm.ISRO thus launched successfully a moon probe. It took photos of the moon's surface and send them to the moon craft(Chanrayaan-1).India is the 4th country after US,Russia and Japan to launch a moon probe.
